In addition to my work as a Family to Family teacher for WAMI, I also am on the board and active in the Imani Project, a nonprofit organization that provides AIDS prevention, education and treatment for a over 30 remote villages on the eastern coach of Kenya. We have medical clinics alternating years with our AIDS program. As Maternal and Child Health Director for the project,I have been working on a diarrhea prevention program and birthing kit project so women in the remonte villages can deliver their babies in a safe and sanitary enviornment. We are support and over 100 AIDS orphans. I have been spending a month in Kenya during the fall for the last 8 years .

I use a combination of Humanistic, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, CBT DBT, Gestalt therapy whatever I think would be the most helpful and meet the needs of my client. I see every client holistically ,working on physical, emotional and sprirtual health. I have began working with many seniors who are insured by Medicare.

I also teach classes for the American Alliance on Mental Health (WAMI) and see chronically ill clients with Schizophrenia or Bipolar Disoder.
